Discord Statue in glazed stoneware.

62 cm (24.4 in) high from the base to the antler.
That means that he shrunk about 8 cm (3.1 in) during firing. Poor guy.

I based him on the pose he was turned to stone in by Celestia and Luna. I had to make him kneel in order to not challenge the material and the laws of physics to much, but I think it added more power to the pose.

I’m a supporter of the Celestia/Discord affair theory so I’d like to think this pose was made during a proposal or other declaration of love for Celestia, who stone hearted gave him the cold shoulder.

This is actually the second Discord statue I’ve made. The first one had a chaos-related accident (who'd have thought?) and ended up in pieces at the bottom of the kiln.

If it's still up for sale, at 24", I would have no problem paying $40 - $50 (before shipping) for this amazing work of art.
